Veronica Fordham - Director
Veronica Fordham assisted the late John Fordham’s establishment of The Head and Neck Cancer Foundation (H&NCF) in 2019, by organising fund-raising events to raise awareness for cancer research. After John’s passing in November 2019, Veronica and family then established the Fordham Foundation in 2020 to carry on the financial assistance to the existing health promotion charity H&NCF. Veronica Fordham co-founded The Fordham Company in 1979 with her late husband and continues to remain active in the business, which is now owned and operated by Nick Fordham.
Ben Fordham - Director
Ben Fordham is a Walkley award winning journalist who hosts Radio 2GB’s breakfast show. Ben’s talents have been repeatedly recognised at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards, being awarded ‘Best Metropolitan Talk Presenter’ six times and voted ‘Best Metropolitan Current Affairs Presenter’ in 2017. Ben became the youngest reporter in history to win a Walkley-Raward double in the same year. He won a Walkley – Australia’s top award in journalism – for his coverage of the 1997 Thredbo landslide tragedy and a Raward – the top accolade in the Australian radio industry – for excellence in journalism. Away from his media engagements, Ben volunteers for several charities in the areas of fundraising, lobbying, strategy and as a Master of Ceremonies.
Nick Fordham – Director
Nick Fordham is Chief Executive Officer of the leading Australian talent management agency, The Fordham Company, whose clients include some of the nation’s most respected and high profile individuals. Since acquiring the ownership of the business in 2014, Nick Fordham has significantly, and creatively, expanded its base to include investment in television production rights and partnerships in consumer-driven businesses.
Anthony Jefferies – Company Secretary
Mr Jefferies is qualified in New South Wales to practice as a lawyer. His practice spans over 25 years in private practice. Anthony is a Partner at Gillis Delaney Lawyers and has represented both private individuals and publicly listed companies across a broad range of commercial disputes. Anthony has a breadth of experience as a company director.
Matthew Prentice - Director
Matthew Prentice (B.Com C.A) has been a Chartered Accountant for 16 years and is the Founder and Director of the boutique accounting firm Ocean Accountants. During the past 16 years, Matthew has extensive experience in providing consulting, financial controlling and compliance assistance to small and medium sized businesses. His expertise spans a wide range of industries including the financial, retail, tourism & construction industries.
Gabriella Hijazi - Director
Gabriella of Shaw Reynolds Lawyers has extensive experience in charitable work, including her assistance with the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District in the development and implementation of the Mental Health First Aid Program, and her invaluable undertaking to the establishment of the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation Limited in 2018. She brings legal knowledge and organisational skill at a corporate board level through her contribution to the many charitable organisations she supports and to the broader Australian community.
Sarah Fordham – General Manager
Sarah is a Sydney-based artist who divides her time across a wide range of creative endeavours, which includes the running of her own design label, SAFO. Beyond the studio, Sarah is a university lecturer in Visual Arts education, where she designs and delivers both undergraduate and graduate programs for pre-service teachers in the areas of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment. She brings her organisation and administrative skills to assisting the running of the Fordham Foundation.
